Desert Juice Company, LLC (DJC) was founded in 2014 in Tucson, Arizona. The company's technical foundation is rooted in synthetic organic and bioorganic chemistry, providing the scientific basis for its work in formulation, materials, and applied product development.
DJC began through a variety of independent and contract projects involving e-cigarette formulations, cosmetic lotions, technical training, novel drug design, coating formulations, synthetic chemistry, and polymer composites.
Over time, DJC expanded into a broader range of research and product-development activities. More recent work includes dedicated product development for the pet-care market, investigation of natural sources for lithographic and screen-printing inks, recycling of metals and polymers, and research into antifouling coatings.
DJC also provides regulatory guidance and documentation for products subject to U.S. FDA requirements, including foods, drugs, and cosmetics, as well as international requirements based on ISO standards, ICH, WHO, and other applicable regulations.
Product development is approached from start to finish with consideration of formulation, performance, testing, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
